1.  Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the waitlist landing page located at www.preservus.io (the “Site”), operated by Preservus, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company (“Preservus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not apply to the Preservus application located at app.preservus.io or its supporting API, which are governed by a separate Application Privacy Policy, or to participants in our invitation-only alpha program, who are governed by a separate Alpha Testing Agreement.

The Site is a pre-launch waitlist page. It does not itself collect account-registration information, financial account data, or payment information.
 

2.  Information We Collect

Information you provide.

• Email address, when you join the waitlist. This is the only required field.

• Optional profile information, presented as four short questions immediately after you submit your email: employment status, marital status, financial risk tolerance, and financial acumen. Every question is optional. You may skip any or all of them and still join the waitlist.

• Anything you send us directly at marketing@preservus.io.

Information collected automatically. Our website hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information common to most websites: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, and referring URL. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers, ad pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising tools on the Site.
 

3.  How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to maintain the waitlist and contact you about Preservus, including launch updates; to understand, in aggregate, the interests of people who join the waitlist; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; and to respond to inquiries sent to marketing@preservus.io. We do not use your information to make any automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

4.  How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers.  We use a third-party website hosting and forms provider to operate the Site and the waitlist form, and a third-party email delivery provider to send waitlist confirmation and update emails. We also use third-party domain registration and DNS services solely to keep the Site’s domain name resolving correctly; those providers do not receive the personal information you submit through the form. A list of our specific service providers is available on request at marketing@preservus.io.

• Legal and safety reasons.  We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Preservus, our users, or the public.

• Business transfers.  If Preservus is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, waitlist information may transfer as part of that transaction.

5.  Cookies

The Site uses cookies placed by our website hosting platform that are necessary for basic site functionality and to operate the waitlist form. We do not currently place third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the Site.

6.  Data Retention

We retain waitlist information for as long as the waitlist remains active and for a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion at any time as described in Section 7.

7.  Your Privacy Rights

​

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Colorado Privacy Act, and comparable laws in other states. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no sale or share to opt out of. To exercise any of these rights, email marketing@preservus.io with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8.  Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under the age of eighteen.

9.  Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, consistent with the practices described at trust.preservus.io. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10.  Changes to This Policy

​

We may update this Policy as the Site and our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
