Privacy Policy

1.  Scope of This Policy


This Privacy Policy applies solely to the waitlist landing page located at www.PRESERVUS.io (the “Site”), operated by PRESERVUS, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company (“PRESERVUS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It describes the personal information we collect when you visit the Site and join the waitlist, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.


The Site is currently a pre-launch waitlist page only. PRESERVUS has not yet launched its financial planning product, and no account registration, financial account linkage, or paid service is available through the Site. Before we launch account registration or any feature requiring additional personal information, such as date of birth, address, or financial account data, we will publish an updated privacy policy specific to that product and provide notice of the change.

 

2.  Information We Collect


Information you provide.

  • Email address, when you join the waitlist. This is the only required field.

  • Optional profile information, presented as four short questions immediately after you submit your email: employment status, marital status, financial risk tolerance, and financial acumen. Every question is optional. You may skip any or all of them and still join the waitlist.

  • Anything you send us directly at marketing@preservus.io.

 

Information collected automatically. Our website hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information common to most websites: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, and referring URL. We use this to operate and secure the Site and to understand aggregate visitor traffic. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers, ad pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising tools on the Site.


We do not collect, and this Site does not ask for, financial account numbers, financial institution login credentials, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or payment card information.


3.  How We Use Your Information


We use the information above to maintain the waitlist and contact you about PRESERVUS, including launch updates; to understand, in aggregate, the interests of people who join the waitlist so we can prioritize what we build; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; and to respond to inquiries sent to marketing@preservus.io.


We do not use your information to make any automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you.


4.  How We Share Your Information


We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in the following circumstances:

 

  • Service providers.  We use a third-party website hosting and forms provider to operate the Site and the waitlist form, and a third-party email delivery provider to send waitlist confirmation and update emails. We also use third-party domain registration and DNS services solely to keep the Site’s domain name resolving correctly; those providers do not receive the personal information you submit through the form. We use a third-party product-analytics service to understand how the Site is utilized, processing usage data (pages visited, actions taken), device and browser information, and IP addresses. Each provider processes your information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide its service to PRESERVUS. A list of our specific service providers is available on request at marketing@preservus.io.

  • Legal and safety reasons.  We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of PRESERVUS, our users, or the public.

  • Business transfers.  If PRESERVUS is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, waitlist information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.


5.  Cookies


The Site uses cookies placed by our website hosting platform that are necessary for basic site functionality and to operate the waitlist form. Our third-party product-analytics service uses cookies only to recognize your browser across visits. We do not currently place third-party advertising cookies on the Site. If that changes, we will update this Policy, provide appropriate notice, and, where required by law, obtain your consent first.


6.  Data Retention


We retain waitlist information for as long as the waitlist remains active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you engage with PRESERVUS again. You may request deletion at any time as described in Section 7.


7.  Your Privacy Rights


Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, request correction or deletion, and object to certain uses. This includes rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Colorado Privacy Act, and comparable laws in Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with similar protections. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently no sale or share to opt out of.


To exercise any of these rights, email marketing@preservus.io with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally forty-five days, with one permitted forty-five day extension. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.


8.  Children’s Privacy


The Site is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under the age of eighteen. If you believe a minor has submitted information through the Site, contact us at marketing@preservus.io and we will delete it.


9.  Security


We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


10.  Changes to This Policy


We may update this Policy as the Site and our practices evolve. The effective date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
